SearchEye credits are a global currency used exclusively on the SearchEye platform, designed to streamline transactions for both brands and publications. Here's everything you need to know about how they work and how to manage them.

What Are SearchEye Credits?

SearchEye credits serve as the main transactional currency within the platform. They provide a seamless way for brands to secure mentions on publication sites and for publications to receive compensation.

Types of Credits: Withdrawable vs Non-Withdrawable

Within the SearchEye platform, we distinguish between two types of credits: withdrawable and non-withdrawable. Understanding the difference is crucial for both brands and publications.

Non-Withdrawable Credits (For Brands)

By default, all credits in your wallet are non-withdrawable. These credits are primarily used by brands to:

  • Place orders for content or services on the platform.

  • Top up their balance when required to ensure they can secure desired placements.

Non-withdrawable credits are an efficient way for brands to manage their marketing spend within the platform. In the event that an order cannot be fulfilled, the corresponding credits will be refunded back to your account as non-withdrawable credits, ensuring they remain available for future use.

Withdrawable Credits (For Publishers)

To streamline payouts for publishers, we offer withdrawable credits:

  • Earning Withdrawable Credits: When a publisher fulfills a request, they earn withdrawable credits. These credits can either be used on the platform for further purchases or withdrawn to a bank account or PayPal for a fee.

  • Withdrawing Credits: Publishers can convert their withdrawable credits into cash by withdrawing them. This offers flexibility and a straightforward way to monetize their contributions on the platform.

Withdrawable credits are specifically designed to support publishers by providing them with a tangible return on their contributions, whether they choose to reinvest in the platform or withdraw their earnings.

Managing Your Wallet

Your Wallet is where you can view your current credit balance, see your transaction history, and manage credits.

  • Credit Balance: This is the total amount of credits you have available in your account. These credits can be used to place orders for content or services.

  • Transaction History: Under this section, you can see a detailed record of all transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, redeemed credits, and refunds.

Purchasing Additional Credits

Brands looking to increase their exposure can purchase additional credits:

  1. In the Wallet Area: Easily top up your balance from your wallet dashboard.

  2. At time of checkout: When placing an order, you can add more credits directly if your balance is insufficient.

These features ensure that you never miss an opportunity to feature your brand on top publications.

Refunds and Credit Management

In the event that an order cannot be fulfilled, we will refund the corresponding credits back to your account. This ensures that your investment in our platform remains secure and flexible.
