This guide is for publishers who are looking to fully manage their orders directly through the SearchEye Platform.

You can also manage your collaboration requests via email (no login required). Click here to learn more about managing requests via email

Navigating Your Dashboard

In the side navigation bar, there will be a section for "Publisher Management", here you can access your dashboard that shows all Outstanding Requests as well as Article Submissions.

By default, SearchEye will automatically take you to the "[X] Action Required" tab, which shows any actions needed from your end:

Actions Required

There are four actions that a publisher can make to help move a request forward:

  • Pre-Approve (or reject) a collaboration request

  • Approve (or reject) pitch requests

  • Approve (or provide feedback) content

  • Provide the live published article link

Pre-Approve Collaboration Requests

When an initial request comes through (you will also receive an email notification), you have the ability to pre-approve the request.

You can click "Pre-Approve Order" in the dashboard itself. If you need more information, you can also "View Order Details".

Approve Pitch Requests

Depending on your Publication Offers preferences, you may want to see a pitch before you can approve a collaboration request. In this case, when the pitch is ready for your review, you'll see "Review Pitch" Under "Action Required".

To view the pitch, you can either click "Review Pitch", you'll see a popup that shows the pitches for your approve:

You can select the pitches that work for your site, and then click "Approve Pitch". You can select as many (or few) that meet your requirements. If you're not satisfied with any of them, select "Not Satisfied with Any of the Pitches", provide some feedback and Submit. Our team will revise and send back for your approve.

Approve Content

Once the content has been crafted, from SearchEye's team of Pulitzer award winning journalists (ok, that's not true but want to make sure you're paying attention). Click on "Review Content". Here you can "Review content for approval", approve content (Yes, looks great!), reject content (No, needs work!) and provide feedback on the submitted work.

If approved:

  1. If you approve the content, click "Yes, looks great!"

  2. Provide the expected timeline to publish the article

  3. [Optional] Provide any feedback for the submitted content

If you have feedback:

  1. If you do not approve the content (in its current form), select "No, needs work"

  2. Provide any feedback for the submitted content

Submit Published Article Link

Once the content is approved and ready for publishing, you'll be able to provide the Published Article. To get started, click Send published link in your dashboard.

Provide the link to the live published article and click submit.

  • SearchEye is currently completing content

  • Waiting on approvals from the brand

No action is required from your end at this time on these requests.

Published

These are completed collaboration requests with live published articles associated with them.

No more actions are required from your end at this time.

Canceled

These are orders that were canceled, this can happen for a few reasons:

  • The collaboration request wasn't approved by the Publisher

  • The Brand cancelled the order

No more actions are required from your end at this time.
